This is a comment on Taylor Swift’s latest music video

Even if this was accurate, I’m pretty sure people can watch it more than once.

I notice you posted your answer for the Taylor Swift. The reason why people consider that music video is because the only time she used Black and Brown people when she doing hip-hop moves and not with ballet when they are plenty of Black and Brown ballerinas. Also in the wake of Micheal Brown who was shot because he was Black. It just make people believe that Taylor Swift like using offensive stereotypes and makes her look like she is racist.

rawrrsakura:

That’s absolute bullshit and anyone who believes Taylor Swift is being a racist is looking way to fucking hard into it. There were black and brown people in every other skit on there except the ballet part, and if people are going to get their panties up in a bunch about ONE dance out of the 9 or 10 different genres of dance that was showcased, then I have no words for you except to get the fuck over it. This music video has been in the makes for over two months, way before the Micheal Brown incident. Stop making everything into a race issue where it has no business being there. End of story.

Watch the music video next time without looking for a reason to hate her.

❝ Writing ‘Red’, I was 21 and 22 and back then I think my priorities were different. My priorities were, I was very enamored by romance and the idea of that. At 24, at this point, I’m just really like, I just want to be with my friends, and I wanna make music, and I wanna play shows, and I wanna travel the world, and I want to define my life on my own terms. That’s my list of priorities now which is different than it was a couple years ago. ❞
